Day 3~Wild Animal Park and the Beach

This was definitely a full day as well. We woke up and headed to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. We had never been so we weren't certain what it was going to be like. We all had a great time. We seen every animal you could think of...birds, giraffes, rhinos, gorillas, zebras, lions, etc.

Aiden was my little curious george...He had to touch EVERYTHING and explore:)

Mckinlee

Here we are petting the deer....Aiden loved it...He went around and pet all of them.

Aren't they cute?

Trey and Mckinlee hanging out with the deer

We went on a 30 minute safari and was able to see the animals out in their own territory

It was so neat just watching the huge giraffes walking around the hillside

And who can forget the Gorillas. They intrigue me so much. Probably because they are so human like. It's so interesting to just watch their actions. I could have sat their for along time just watching them.

Trey caught this picture...I was laughing so hard when I saw it. They were just out sunbathing...Nothing wrong with that. LOL And I do have to mention the one in the back playing with his own poop. YUCK!

We saw Wildebeest roaming around as well

AND after we were done at the Wild Animal Park we went to my FAVORITE place ever
THE BEACH

Isn't Aiden darling? He absolutely LOVED it and so did Mckinlee and Trey

Me and my sweet boys at the beach...Look at how dirty Aidens legs and feet are.LOL

The kids playing in the sand

Mckinlee, Me, Aiden, Jason, and Trey

Here's the kids playing with a girl they met from Utah

The kids begged Jason to get in with them and this was him when he was done...freezing!!!

Having fun exploring this awesome soft stuff

I just had to snap this pic of Jason and his buddy Shawn. They were having quite the conversation. They hadn't seen each other in a few years. He lives in San Diego with his Fiance and he was able to hang out with us at the beach. Later that night we met up with them again and had dinner at a nice Seafood/Steakhouse right off the beach close to our hotel. It was great seeing them again. It had been since our wedding.

Aiden, Mommy and Daddy

Look at my little surfer's face....He had sand from head to toe and he loved every minute of it.

After we got home from the beach and had a shower the boys were laying on the bed eating goldfish. I love this picture. Aiden just LOVES his big brother and  LOVES being just as big as him.

What a great third day of our vacation. I am glad we got to experience the wild animal park and there is no better place than the beach. I love spending time there with the sand between my toes just watching the kids have a blast. It is sooooo relaxing and I miss it sooooo much. I miss hearing the waves and the peaceful feeling I have at the beach. Hope you enjoyed all the pics.
