Christmas in New Jersey

We had a great time spending Christmas in New Jersey this year. I was a little worried about Aiden's first plane ride but it wasn't bad at all. He is such a busy little guy though. I had to walk the aisle a few times just for a change of scenery:) He is such a talker. When he wasn't sleeping, he was talking and talking and talking:) He has the cutest personality ever.  We arrived in NJ on Wednesday. Thursday was Christmas Eve and we went to Jason's parents church for Christmas Eve service. It's such a beautiful church and decorated beautifully for Christmas. After that we drove back home, made cookies for santa, and headed to bed. Trey was so excited because the Elf on the Shelf had followed us to Jersey. He was telling everybody to get to bed  so Santa could come:) Christmas morning was exciting for us all. Santa left every one of us a stocking this year. I was thrilled. We then headed to NYC to Jason's grandparents house. They had never met Aiden (their first and only great grandchild.) We visited with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins and then headed back to Jersey.  It was an eventful Christmas. Saturday night we met up with Jason's friends for dinner. It was nice catching up with them as well. The trip went by way too fast. Before I knew it we were  on our flight back home. Thanks Don and Elaine for everything. It was great spending Christmas with you this year. See you guys soon.

Santa left Trey a note with a picture of his new bike. He left it at our house so we didn't have to worry about shipping it back. What a nice Santa:)

Merry Christmas

Photobucket

Here is our Christmas card for 2009. I had fun designing it myself. I think it turned out pretty great:) For those of you who didn't receive one, consider this yours. It's always so hectic around this time of year that I am sure I forgot some people. Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year:) I LOVE my husband, I LOVE my boys, I LOVE Christmas, and I LOVE that we are able to spend the holidays with our families.. Happy Holidays!!!

The best of all gifts around any christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in one another. ~Burton Hillis

This was Aidens first visit with Santa. Aiden didn't know what to think of Santa Clause. He was very curious as you can see:) He just stared at him. What a little cutie pie.

Trey on the other hand has had many visits with Santa. I sure hope he finds us in New Jersey this year:)

Sylvester Christmas Party and Temple Square

We had a great time at our Sylvester family Christmas party this year. We decided to do something a little different. We drove up Friday night to my parents house. Saturday morning we woke up and had a yummy Christmas breakfast, opened presents, and then headed up to SLC to temple square to see the lights, and ate at Brick Oven for dinner. It was a lot of fun:) It was super chilly but we were all bundled up so it was fine.

Malmgren Christmas Party 2009

What a crazy busy December we've had. We went up to Utah for our annual Malmgren Christmas party a couple weeks ago. The kids had a lot of fun exchanging gifts, visiting with Santa, and even making their very own Santa hats. The malmgren family is growing very rapidly. Below is a picture of most if not all my Grandpa Malmgren's great grandkids.

We also went to the light parade in Richfield that weekend. It was cold but Aiden didn't mind. He was cuddled up to mommy and stayed awake for most of the time.

My baby is growing up way too fast...He is the sweetest, happiest, most lovable, huggable, kissable baby in the world. He now weighs 20 1/2 pounds:) He LOVES his mommy, daddy, and big brother SOOOO much. He thinks Trey is the funniest person and laughs at him constantly. We could not imagine life without our little boogie. We LOVE him more than words can say. Aiden is a little go getter. He can crawl so fast, stands up to everything, and even stands without holding on at times. Happy 8th month birthday sweet angel muffin. Love you always and forever

Family Pictures 2009

A few weeks ago we had our family pictures taken. I think they turned out great. I cannot believe how fast my boys are growing up. Trey is 9 years old going on twenty and Aiden is 7 1/2 months old. I just want to take a few moments to express how very grateful I am to have such an amazing family. Before I met Jason, I was extremely pessimistic. He has changed me for the better in so many ways. He has shown me that you should always be grateful for what you do have than to covet what others have. He is the best daddy to both Trey and Aiden and LOVES spending time with both of them. He is the most giving person I have ever met and is always looking for the good in everyone. Thank you so much honey for just being YOU and for helping me see the BEST in me. I just LOVE my 3 boys sooooo much!!! Without them I would have nothing. They make my life complete. I LOVE you with all my heart Jason, Trey, and Aiden:) Enjoy our family pictures!
