Family Pictures

Man I cannot believe how behind I am on posting. This is the perfect post to get caught up on. In October we drove up to Utah to get our family pictures taken. We hadn't had an extended family picture taken since before me and Jason got married so I was excited to get them done. We found the perfect place and I set up my tripod and timer and this is what I captured:)I Love my family so much and I am so happy we were all able to get together to capture these moments.

More Fun

We had another playdate at Run Plus Fun...Aiden had a blast as usual and we went and the perfect time...There were only a few other kids there so basically we had the place to ourselves...As you can see in the pics the boys had a ball.

Aiden loves sorting, stacking, and playing with legos of any sort. He gets into his brothers legos at home and loves to use his imagination.

He even took some time out to rock my friends little baby...I know he will be a great big brother some day...He loves baby's and is always very curious about them.

Checking up on the baby again.
The boys loved hanging on these...Aiden has a lot of upper strength and could hang on to these for a very long time.  They had had a blast:)

Playdate

Now that school has started back up so have the playdates. Aiden and I met up with some friends at Run Plus Fun a few days ago and the kids had a blast. They couldn't get enough of the slides. We meet up here once a week and let the kids play. It's such a fun and clean environment.

"Sew" cute!

Here it is! My first sewing project all by myself...I have seriously had my sewing machine for years and I am just now learning how to use it thanks to my mom. I finally had her show me how and I was finally in the mood to listen:) Of course everything is always about photography with me so we made a camera strap together that was zebra print. After she left I decided to try it myself with a different pattern and this is what I came up with. I thought it turned out pretty darn cute. Thanks mom for teaching me how to sew:)

First Day Of Middle School

We did it...We survived the first day of Middle School. The traffic was insane but we still managed to get there in time. This year is a bit of change for me. Not only is my oldest moving on to a bigger school but he is also going to be riding the bus. I decided to take him the first day and apparently everybody else took their kids too. Trey's school is up in Anthem. It's only a few years old and it seems to be a great school. It's in what I like to call a "ritzy" area. There's two or three different elementary schools that move on to Del Webb so there are quite a few kids there. Trey has at least one person in each of his classes that he knew from Schorr so that helps. I was a little nervous all day and was excited to go get him when school was over.

He was a happy boy when me and Aiden picked him up. I asked him how his first day was and he said it was "so much better than Elementary." So that's a plus. I asked him if he already had the girls chasing him and his response "Well, I definitely got a few looks" LOL. What a handsome boy I have!

The second day Trey wanted to ride the bus with his friends and so yesterday Aiden and I walked Sophie to the bus stop and waited for him on the grass. Aiden was so excited when the bus pulled up. So far so good on this Middle School journey:)

Happy Birthday Trey

On August 22 my handsome boy Trey turned 11 years old. I still cannot believe he is 11.  Time is flying by and I really wish it would just slow down for a bit.  We had a crazy month in August. We went to Utah a week before Trey's Birthday and spent a few days with my sis and her family.  Trey's Grandpa Barney came and picked him up on Wednesday and then me and Aiden drove back to Vegas. He went to Lake Powell with them for five days and had a great time. He gets to go to the lake with them at least once every summer and he loves it.  I had to come home to do a few photo shoots so my mom and dad picked Trey up and brought him back home the day before his Birthday.  I was so thankful for that. I feel like all I have been doing is driving back and forth to and from Utah so that was nice of them:) When we were all getting ready for bed later that night I told Trey I was going to wake him up at 3:22 AM and give him a Birthday kiss and he just laughed...But I decided I better not wake him up so I blew up some balloons and put money in them and had them all over his floor when he woke up!

Monday morning me and Trey headed to the Middle School bright and early to get his locker, classes, pay fees, his P.E. uniform, etc. Afterwards we came home and spent the whole day with Grandma and Grandpa Sylvester...Trey picked where he wanted to go for dinner and he chose one of his favorite restaurants P.F. Chang's...I also let him pick whatever cake he wanted and he wanted me to make his favorite yellow cake with his favorite icing (simple boy, I love it.) Afterwards we headed to U swirl for some yummy yogurt where he had his favorite peanut butter yogurt with cookie dough chunks.  I of course indulged in red velvet and added mini chocolate chips...mmmm..my mouth is watering just typing that:) Unfortunately Jason wasn't with us.  He got sent up to work in St. George for a few days:(

Aiden was loving singing happy birthday to his big brother

Grandma and Grandpa Sylvester gave him this quilt that Grandma made for him which he loved

I love my boys

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Trey and thanks to all of you that mailed him gifts....He was able to buy himself an ipod touch with all the money he received and is LOVING it! And we are having a blast with his kinect for the xbox that Jason gave him...Made me realize how out of shape I am...We have been playing wipeout and it is literally wiping me out...but it's nice to spend some quality time with my oldest...Happy Birthday Trey! We LOVE you!
