Scary, but OK....

On Saturday, I started having some pains in my pelvic area. I thought that it may just be gas or indigestion but on Sunday the pain got progressively worse. I was in tears all night on Sunday so Jason told me that I needed to call my doctor. I called and the first thing the nurse told me was that contractions can feel like gas pains and that I needed to go to the hospital just to make sure. So off we went. Once I got the monitor strapped on, they could see that my contractions were two minutes apart. They checked my cervix and it was ok which was a relief. They also did another test that could tell if you were going to have the baby within a couple of weeks and that also came back negative. We were again very relieved. They gave me an IV and a a couple of shots that would take my contractions away. They discharged me a couple of hours later.
That night my pain came back with a vengeance. I was up all night long with massive cramping and pain. I have never been in so much pain. All I could do was cry. I went back to the hospital the next day and again my contractions were 2 minutes apart and I was severely dehydrated. They gave me more IV's and another shot. I went to my OB yesterday and he thinks that I will be ok. He thinks that it is my dehydration that is giving me contractions. He gave me a lecture on drinking water and is making me drink a gallon of water a day. And those of you who know me well, I am not a water drinker. It is so hard to even get half of that in a day. I know I have to do it though. I've got to take care of myself and the baby.
I am still having some pain and it hurts to even walk but I think that it is getting a better. Keep us in your prayers, I've got to keep this cute little baby in for a whole lot longer.

Iceskating Fun!

We wanted to do something fun with Trey this holiday season, so Jason decided to take him iceskating out at Lake Las Vegas. I was a little bummed because I have never went iceskating before and I wasn't in any condition to go this year. So I got to watch them and take pictures. It was very cute. We are definitely going to do this every year. There was Holiday music playing and it's always just so beautiful out there. As you can tell by Trey's pants he fell quite a few times. But once he got the hang of it, he enjoyed every second!!!

What a wonderful weekend.....

Christmas weekend we traveled up to Salina to have our family christmas party. We were a little concerned about the weather, but we made it up just fine. I was a nervous wreck and made Jason drive the whole way there. At times we couldn't even see out of our window because of the slush, dirt, and salt. Once we arrived we had a blast. The kids are always so excited to see one another. We made homeade pizzas, breadsticks, and desserts and Jason even had a famous Juniors cheesecake delivered to my parents home from NYC. It's a tradition of his and since we weren't in Jersey, he brought it to us! YUMMY!

Christmas morning at our house was a lot of fun. Even the puppies enjoyed it. Trey was quite surprised by his World Tour (rockband) that Santa gave him. He enjoyed opening all of his presents and definitely made a haul. Santa even left Sophie and Tuffy some peanut butter suckers, jerky, and squeeky toys. Jason also spoiled me this christmas. I got a new coach purse, digital camera, sewing machine, and a new scanner. I was also definitely surprised. Thanks honey for all the great gifts. All in all, we had a wonderful christmas and next year we will have another bundle of joy to celebrate with.
