Sweet Surprises....

Valentines Day is always full of sweet surprises! A couple of days before the big day, Jason and I went out to a yummy dinner at P.F. Changs. Trey's friends mom had called and asked Trey to the movies so we decided to take advantage of it and go to an early valentines dinner to beat the crowds. It was well worth it......

My wonderful hubby then surprised me with 35 stunning red roses and a beautiful necklace that I have been wanting. Isn't it BEAUTIFUL? He is truly a great husband. I love him SOOOOO Much! He had to work on Valentines Day, so Trey and I took him his favorite food for lunch, a bouquet of I Love You baloons, and a pretty arrangement to keep in the pharmacy. Then after that, Trey and I were off to his basketball game. He does such a great job. He loves it. Their team is undefeated so far and they have just a couple of more games this season.

We also made valentines sugar cookies a few days before which is a tradition of mine. I had my hubby take some to work with him and we all enjoyed them thoroughly!!!

For breakfast on Valentines, I made some HEART shaped french toast. They were yummy!!! Trey enjoyed them alot too. He liked that idea. He also liked the idea that yet there was another holiday to get a present. I think kids are spoiled, aren't they? I know I was. I Hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day! Thank you honey for spoiling me once again. I LOVE you!

30 Weeks And Counting.....

So here I am. I promised my friends that I would post a pregnancy picture for those who don't ever get to see me. I procrastinated quite a while but I decided to finally do it. I still can't believe I am doing it though. When I was pregnant with Trey I was very sick in the beginning. I had to get IV's weekly because I was so dehydrated and vitamin B shots to help with the nausea. Once I hit about 4 1/2 months I actually was able to eat again. You would've never known I was that sick because I ended up gaining 65 pounds by the time I delivered him. I retained so much water. I don't know what happened. But at least I was able to lose all that pregnancy weight and then some, even though it took awhile. I am just not a good pregnant person.....
So here we our today. Past the sickness, (just a little nauseous here and there) and the early contractions. I hope everything all goes well from here on out. We are getting so excited for this little one to get here. Trey loves to feel the baby kick and I know he will be a fantastic big brother. The month of April seems so close but yet so far away. We have been decorating his room and getting it ready. We have the stroller and car seat and a few other things. We ordered the furniture and it should be here sometime this week. Once I get his room all ready, I will post a pic on my blog. So enjoy these prego pics!!!

Naughty Puppy!!!

My puppy Tuffy was a little naughty the other day. It had been raining and he wanted to go outside to potty. I let him out and started cleaning the house and realized he hadn't barked to come in yet. Well, this is what I found. He had been digging in one of our lemon tree pots. Needless to say, I was a little angry but look how cute that little face is. I didn't stay that way for long. So up to the bathtub we went.......
